INTERNATIONAL RECORDING ARTIST MiG AYESA LAUNCHES
“UNITED AS ONE” GLOBAL CAMPAIGN FOR ONDOY VICTIMS
A ‘call to arms’ to help bring awareness and desperately needed funds
to the victims of Typhoon Ondoy in The Philippines
NEW YORK CITY (11 November, 2009) - Aussie/Filipino WEST END star, ROCKSTAR:INXS
finalist, and now INTERNATIONAL RECORDING ARTIST MiG Ayesa embarks on yet another
venture;
a global campaign, a ‘call to arms’ to fellow theatre stars, recording artists,
industry personnel, as well as his thousands of fans already involved, in an effort to
ignite action, and bring awareness and desperately needed funds to the victims of Typhoon
Ondoy
UNITED AS ONE began as a demo, a song of hope to all Filipinos that they are not forgotten,
that help is on its way. Within one week of its Official Video launch on YouTube, the song began
to pick up an unmistakable momentum that MiG could not ignore. Next, a free E-card was created,
to enable those willing to help, spread the word of the dire situation as far and as wide as
possible via the Internet. However, the relief effort remains under-funded and under-staffed.
Those millions affected rely so much on too few, and the need remains greater than ever.

Rhythm Del Mundo
Partner with All-Star Line-Up to Battle Climate Change

An incredible line-up of artists agreed to participate in this extremely worthy cause
benefiting the earth and its future.
Several of the nineteen tracks recorded with Rhythms del
Mundo were done exclusively for this album including The Killers' stellar interpretation of
"Hotel California," alongside KT Tunstall, Editors, Augusto Enriquez, One Republic, The Kooks
and Eros Ramazzotti, who all recorded songs specifically for Classics as well.
Maintaining a
high caliber of musicianship, RDM also put their own twist on many other previously recorded
selections including The Rolling Stones' "Under The Boardwalk," Amy Winehouse's "Cupid," Fall
Out Boy featuring John Mayer's "Beat It" and Jack Johnson's, "Imagine."
